The First Spark of Writing

My love affair with language began in my primary school years. Back then, while peers hurried outdoors, I was quietly scribbling short fables on the blank margins of my notebook. The realization that words could heal, soothe fears, and conjure entire realms was the defining revelation of my youth.

Following my degree at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, I entered the corporate sphere, managing corporate communications and internal branding at Türk Telekom. Those years honed my understanding of human connection, clarity, and the psychology of listening.

Motherhood and the Call of Children's Literature

Becoming a mother redefined my purpose. Reading bedtime stories to my own child every night, I observed how deeply picture books imprint upon the delicate architecture of a child's subconscious. I saw that many dilemmas—saying no, respecting boundaries, navigating differences—lacked gentle, non-didactic literary answers.

"A well-crafted children's book never lectures from above; it sits beside the child on the rug, holding their hand in compassionate silence."

This journey culminated in my partnership with Bilgi Ağacı Publishing. The All-Seeing Glasses and Giraffe Zü and the Curious Hedgehog were born out of this heartfelt mission to nurture resilient, empathetic hearts.

Philosophy and Ongoing Mission

Today, between authoring new manuscripts, I travel to schools, kindergartens, and literary festivals across the country. Meeting hundreds of bright-eyed children, hearing their innocent reflections, and signing their dog-eared books is the highest privilege of my life.
